# AlphaMC

> AlphaMC is a free Minecraft: Java Edition survival SMP server (versions 1.20.5 to 26.3). Server address: play.alphamc.info. It runs its own custom plugin, so it has features most SMP servers do not have.

## Join
- Server address (IP): play.alphamc.info
- Edition: Minecraft: Java Edition 1.20.5 to 26.3, on PC. No Bedrock, mobile or console.
- Account: an official Minecraft: Java Edition account.
- How: Minecraft > Multiplayer > Add Server > paste play.alphamc.info > Done > Join.
- Price: free to play.

## Features
- World bosses: scheduled boss fights for the whole server, with phases and random mutators; drops loot and Boss Fragments for the Fragment Shop.
- Custom enchantments: Timberman (more money and XP in the Lumberjack job), Replant (crops and trees plant themselves again), Telepathy (mined blocks go to your inventory), Lifesteal and more.
- Graves: when you die, your items wait in a grave at the spot where you died.
- Custom plants and alchemy: grow plants that are not in normal Minecraft, then brew and cook them into items.
- Jobs and levels: mining, farming, fishing, woodcutting, slaying and beekeeping pay money; levels unlock rewards and titles.
- Fishing: over 100 custom fish in six rarities (junk to Mythic), fishing contests several times a day, a higher Fisherman level catches rarer fish; /fishlist shows every fish.
- Quests and Season Pass: 3 daily and 3 weekly quests per player; finished quests fill a monthly Season Pass with 30 tiers (free and premium rewards). Commands /quests and /pass.
- Markets and trading: rentable village market stalls, chest shops, an Auction House and a safe /trade menu.
- Vote parties: every vote gives a Vote Key and $250 in game; every 100 server votes start a Vote Party with rewards for everyone online.
- Collection Log and achievements, with titles that cannot be bought.

Ranks are optional one-time purchases and include the ranks below them. They give comfort and cosmetics; every item can still be earned by playing (not pay-to-win).

- Media and Promoter: free creator ranks given by staff (Media: 500+ followers and 3 AlphaMC videos or streams a month; Promoter: 50+ Discord invites and 3+ posts a month). Promoter: apply in #applications on the Discord; Media: open a ticket in #support.
